The Christmas Carnivale bazaar organized by the Zonta Club of Alabang last December 5 & 6 was a success!

The bazaar was well-organized with various activities like a dog show, fire dance, an impersonator show, a fun run, and all other things I didn’t get to see/attend– we were busy attending to our booth as we had a good amount of people buying Christmas gifts from us! I didn’t even get to go around much to visit the other booths, all of which selling unique items unlike some bazaars which tend to have just clothes and not much else.

For those coming to this website from one of the cards we handed out, thank you for dropping by and/or buying from us! For Notebooks, Etc. (handmade notebooks, illustrated tumblers, memo pads/to do lists, and button pins), our items are available at our local reseller’s Multiply site, The Fundamentals: http://thefundamentals.multiply.com.

I’ll also be uploading/listing a few new items to the shop (both on Multiply and on Etsy, our online store for international customers) within the next week including a new batch of notepads fresh off the press (literally– we got them from the printing press the day of the bazaar) so watch out for that.

For those interested in King Beans Coffee (short name: King’s Coffee), our Batangas-sourced Barako/Liberica coffee, check out this Multiply album for details on how to order. We’re accepting local orders and we are looking to have a proper website created for King’s Coffee hopefully in the first quarter of 2010. Stay tuned!

Just a quick post to let you know two things. First, I have a feature on the just-relaunched Pixelbureau! Click here to read it. Thank you, Errol, for the invitation!

Second, Notebooks, Etc. and King’s Coffee will be at the Zonta Christmas Carnivale bazaar on December 5 and 6!

We’ll be selling our handmade paper goods and Barako coffee. For all the Southeners in the area, come check us out! I’ve temporarily closed my Etsy shop in preparation for the bazaar. We will reopen after December 6. Thank you!

The bazaar we joined last Sunday in Tahanan Village was a success! At least for us, it was. The heavy (and I mean HEAVY) rains didn’t stop us from selling more than enough merch to cover the booth fee for our next bazaar in December (stay tuned).

Our booth. Excuse the underwear at the back; the stall behind us was selling bras and boxers. Bright orange spandex shorts, anyone?

We also debuted King Beans Coffee, our Batangas-sourced Barako coffee. Visit http://kingscoffee.multiply.com for details!

We’re now in the process of adding new listings to our Etsy shop (new designs and items). Thank you to everyone who came and supported us (that includes my aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents… haha)!

All is quiet on the blog front… but behind the scenes (behind the HTML?), there’s lots going on. I am busy preparing for a bazaar on September 6th. We (ze boyfriend and I) will be selling our notebooks (two sizes now: 4×5 in. and 5×7 in.), a limited number of memo pads, travel tumblers, and button pins. I’ve been punching literally thousands of sheets of paper since early this week.

Pictured above is my work table and this is only one-third of the mess occupying my space. There are button pins all over, paper scraps, and little confetti squares all over the floor from punching holes in all those sheets. This is only our second craft show/bazaar and I’m not yet sure how much stock I need to haul off with me. I’m trying to come up with as much merchandise I can though. I’ll have a very well-stocked Etsy shop after, at least. For those in Manila, you can catch us at the Tahanan Village bazaar in ParaƱaque at the Multipurpose Hall on September 6, from 9 am to 8 pm.

After the bazaar I’ll be diving right into a few projects that’ll keep me busy until the end of the year. Some projects include branding/packaging graphics for a small bakery in the UK, twenty illustrations for ImageZoo, my cousin’s wedding AVP (my last ever foray into the world of motion graphics and video editing! I am sooo ready to leave frame aspect ratios and keyframes behind), and other small jobs in between. I might not be blogging much during this period but hey, what’s new? As if I update this blog religiously, hehe…

In the meantime, I leave you with something I found when I uploaded old pictures from my camera– a peek at a random page in my sketchbook.

Just a quick post to let you know that our illustrated travel tumblers are available for sale all the way over in Finland! I’m jealous. I’ve never been to Finland.

These tumblers are being sold in Enjoy It. Deli & Delight, a cafe/deli in Helsinki. Some photos of the deli’s interiors from their Facebook page:
