In the seven years that I’ve had this name and domain, I never once made an attempt to design a logo or identity either for myself or my website. There were fleeting thoughts of designing one, maybe three or four times over the seven-year period, but they were merely faint, half-baked ideas I discarded as fast as they came to me.
So it came as a bit of a surprise when I sat down in front of my laptop this evening, surveyed my website header, mused at how plain it looked without a little icon or graphic next to it when boom– before I realized what I was doing, a logo was born. Just like that. Still have to tweak a few things to suit my taste but the concept is there.
I like moments like this, when inspiration comes up from nowhere and chucks an idea right at you.
